Invited Speaker: Nils Weidmann

Nils Weidmann will give the first talk at the conference about using internet traffic measurements in social science research.

Nils Weidmann, Professor of Political Science and head of the "Communication, Networks and Contention" Research Group at the University of Konstanz, will be the first invited speaker to present at our conference.

His talk Remote-Sensing Digital Interactions: Using Network Measurement for Political Science Research will investigate the role of internet traffic measurements as a resource for social science research. Besides a short technical introduction to the approach, he will provide three examples from the field of political science.

The talk will be given on Wednesday 25 at 14:30, right after the welcome addresses in A701.
